Conceptual Gardens

Equilibrium

Last year at the Hampton Court flower show, my colleague and I won the gold medal and best conceptual garden called  Equilibrium.
The garden was broadcast on BBC2 and was seen by over three million viewers and visitors. It was extensively promoted by the Royal horticultural society and the BBC.

Wormhole

With 10,000 living lettuce and an alien, John Humphreys, together with Tony Smith and Derek Smith won the RHS 2010 Tatton Park Flower Show Visionary Garden Gold Medal for their design “A Matter Of Time”

At the 2015 RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Andy Hyde and John Humphreys won the Gold Medal and the Best Conceptual Garden Award for our garden Equilibrium. It was extensively promoted by the Royal Horticultural Society and the BBC and was seen by over three million viewers and visitors.

The subject of Wormhole, John Humphreys’ and Andy Hyde’s 2016 RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show garden design, was time and space and the European Space Agency was very interested in the project to promote education in the subject of space.

Below are downloadable PDF’s showing Equilibrium and Wormhole.
